MRC OX-2 antigen: a lymphoid/neuronal membrane glycoprotein with a structure like a single immunoglobulin light chain [1].
Three glycosylation sites are identified on each of the MRC OX-2 antigen domains [1].
The MRC OX-2 antigen is a membrane glycoprotein of about 45,000 Mr present on rat neurons, thymocytes, B cells, follicular dendritic cells, endothelium and smooth muscle [2].
The MRC OX 2 antigen was expressed most on ovarian structures that do not develop further, i.e. granulosa of degenerating antral follicles and third generation of corpora lutea [3].
