Disease relevance of RHBDL1

  • MATERIALS AND METHODS: We identified 5,509 patients treated with RRP for prostate cancer at our institution between 1987 and 1995 [1].
  • After RRP patients with 1 biopsy had a lower rate of organ confined tumors (61% vs 75%, p < 0.0001), and a higher rate of extracapsular extension, seminal vesicle invasion, lymph node metastases and Gleason sum 7 or greater than other patients [2].
  • One patient in group 2 presented 4 months after RRP with a bladder neck contracture [3].
  • However, with the addition of each successive premature beat, the HPS-RRP of the postextrasystolic beat alternated between lower and higher values, in a manner dependent on whether there was an odd or even number of premature beats [4].
  • RESULTS: In all of 61 patients, the RRP was performed for adenocarcinoma of the prostate [5].

High impact information on RHBDL1

Chemical compound and disease context of RHBDL1

  • CONCLUSIONS: In this difficult to treat population of men with erectile dysfunction subsequent to NS-RRP on demand treatment with vardenafil during a 3-month period significantly improved key aspects of the sexual experience important to patient quality of life [10].

Biological context of RHBDL1

  • During RRP, a significant positive correlation existed between MTT and the increase in heart rate (N = 15; r = 0.83; p less than 0.001) [12].
  • The relationship between rate response and exercise tolerance was studied by measuring the symptom-limited maximum treadmill time (MTT)both during fixed rate VVI pacing and during VVI + activity mode pacing (RRP) in 15 patients (mean age, 73 years) who had received rate-responsive ventricular pacemakers [12].
  • With the possibility this could drastically reduce the incidence of RRP, the otolaryngology community should advocate for implementation of a vaccine program that provides effective prevention of HPV infection with subtypes 6 and 11 [13].
  • RRP pathological specimen was handled and examined according to European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines [14].
  • Rhomboid-like proteins in Apicomplexa: phylogeny and nomenclature [15].

Anatomical context of RHBDL1

  • The authors have shown, as proof of principle in bilaterally resected neurovascular bundle at the time of RRP, that sural nerve grafting can restore erectile function [16].
  • The prostate could be transected at the bladder neck with the prostatic fascia attached to the anterior prostate as in RRP [17].

Associations of RHBDL1 with chemical compounds

  • After injection of verapamil no significant effects on the atrial ERP and RRP were found [18].

Other interactions of RHBDL1

  • In eukaryotes, two distinct, ancient acquisitions apparently gave rise to the two major subfamilies, typified by rhomboid and PARL (presenilins-associated rhomboid-like protein), respectively [19].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of RHBDL1

  • In addition, it is less morbid then RRP without being as technically challenging as laparoscopic radical prostatectomy [6].
  • The fine rhomboid-like crystals of cryptocin allowed structural elucidation by X-ray crystallography [20].
  • PURPOSE: We investigated whether repeat prostate biopsies are associated with more favorable prognoses, less extensive disease or higher rates of IC in patients who are ultimately diagnosed with prostate cancer and treated with RRP [2].
  • METHODS: Of 168 men with Stage D1 disease diagnosed between 1983 and 1995, 127 underwent pelvic lymphadenectomy and radical retropubic prostatectomy (PLND/RRP) and 41 underwent PLND alone [21].
  • RESULT: Only 30-50% of the patients in the RRP group showed improvement and this number is not significantly different from the control group [22].
