Leukocyte migration: scent of the T zone.

Recent studies show that the chemokine receptor CCR7 helps T lymphocytes and dendritic cells to navigate into the T-cell zone of lymphoid organs. Furthermore, down-modulation of CCR7 redirects some activated T cells from these zones into other lymphoid tissue compartments.[1]
