A transducing lambda phage carrying grpE, a bacterial gene necessary for lambda DNA replication, and two ribosomal protein genes, rpsP (S16) and rplS (L19) [1].
The trmD and rplS genes from the Serratia marcescens trmD operon are presented [2].

The trmD operon is a four-cistron operon in which the first and fourth genes encode ribosomal proteins S16 (rpsP) and L19 (rplS), respectively [3].
Structural genes for two ribosomal proteins, rplS (L19) and rpsP (S16) were also shown to be carried by lambdagrpE22 [1].
