Disease relevance of Subject Headings

• In EMBASE, the subject headings drotrecogin, activated protein C, and sepsis were used to search publications from 1980 through September 2002 [1].

High impact information on Subject Headings

• METHOD: The Lithium Information Center data base of over 20,000 articles was searched under the title and subject heading of "potassium." Pertinent articles from the 303 references obtained served as the basis for this review [2].
• Using MEDLINE starting in January 1966, a search was conducted for articles published in which homocysteine was included as a subject heading or a text word [3].
