We have investigated the interaction of the nitroimidazole radiosensitizer desmethylmisonidazole (Ro 05 9963) with interstitial radiation using a clonogenic cell assay as the endpoint [2].
In addition, 22 of the tumors were studied for their response to the aromatase inhibitor, 4-OH-androstenedione, in a soft agar clonogenic cell assay system [3].
9L cells indicative of a low O6-MT activity showed 13 microM for ACNU and 18 microM for MCNU at a 10% survival dose (SD10), determined by a clonogenic cell assay as an index of cellular resistance [4].
In vitro clonogenic cell assay reproduced the antitumor activity of E2, indicating that E2 directly inhibits part of the cell growth of T-61 tumors [5].
