Treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis with an intralesional antimonial drug (Pentostam).

In major American textbooks of dermatology and medicine the use of intralesional sodium stibogluconate (Pentostam) in the treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis is not mentioned. In this brief informal communication I have summarized personal experience with this effective treatment modality.[1]
