Uterine inversion secondary to placenta accreta in a diethylstilbestrol-exposed parturient. A case report.

The potential for a poor reproductive outcome is particularly pronounced in women with cervicovaginal changes related to diethylstilbestrol (DES). A women with documented DES exposure and cervicovaginal abnormalities developed an acute postpartum uterine inversion requiring a hysterectomy.[1]
