Oestriol-stimulated synthesis of ribonucleic acid in the uterus of the immature rat.

Oestradiol-17beta and oestriol both sequentially stimulate the synthesis of heterogeneous nuclear RNA and rRNA in vivo. However, the stimulation by oestradiol-17beta, particularly of rRNA synthesis, is very much greater than that elicited by oestriol.[1]
