The Milton Helpern library of legal medicine.

The development and early activities of the Milton Helpern Library of Legal Medicine is narrated by Dr. Milton Helpern. The offshoots of the Library are discussed, including the International Microform Journal of Legal Medicine, which was the first journal of its type in medicine. This has been continued after the death of Dr. Helpern by the new editor, Dr. William G. Eckert of Wichita, Kansas, and the Director of the Milton Helpern International Center of Forensic Sciences at Wichita State University. Its new name is the International Microform Journal of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.[1]
