A correlation between the dissipation of insecticides and rhizosphere microflora of Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench.

A study to understand the relationship between the dissipation of aldicarb and disulfoton in the rhizosphere region of bhendi and the microbial population revealed a negative correlation between the fungal and Azotobacter population and the residues of both insecticides. However, no definite correlation could be recorded between the populations of bacteria and actinomycetes and the residues of the insecticides.[1]
