Ovine TKDP-3 and bovine TKDP-4 had P1 lysines and inhibited trypsin and plasmin with K(i) values only approximately 10-fold higher than that of BPTI [1].
In addition, two previously known divergent genes were identified, trophoblast Kunitz domain protein 1 (TKDP1) and a new splice variant of TKDP4 [2].
