HTA11  -  histone H2A 11

Arabidopsis thaliana

  1. HTA11 is an Arabidopsis homlogue of H2A.Z. Other homologues include HTA9 and HTA8. HTA11 and HTA9 appear to be the major H2A.Z as double mutants display phenotypes of mutants that are unable to incorporate H2A.Z into chromatin [1]
  2. In Arabidopsis, H2A.Z is involved in regulating transcriptional response to ambient temperature through regulating DNA accessibility in a temperature dependent manner [1]
