Disease relevance of BCL7B

High impact information on BCL7B

  • DNA sequence analysis of three IgE-reactive clones identified the alpha-chain of the nascent polypeptide-associated complex, cytokeratin type II, and the BCL7B oncogen as atopy-related IgE autoantigens (ara) [2].
  • Human BCL7B and BCL7C mapped to chromosome 7q11.23, and 16p11, respectively [1].
  • In addition, we identify three novel genes from the common deletion region: WS-betaTRP, WS-bHLH, and BCL7B [3].
  • Molecular DNA analysis showed a maternal deletion at 7q11.23, the locus of elastin and several other genes, including the BCL7B gene, involved in early development [4].

Other interactions of BCL7B

  • No chromosomal rearrangements affecting BCL7B or BCL7C were detected in lymphoid malignancies [1].
