Interactions between mitogenic stimuli, or, a thousand and one connections.

Signals from G-protein-coupled receptors, tyrosine kinase receptors and integrins cooperate to determine cell growth. Work over the past two years has shown that this cooperation is based on crosstalk involving both receptors and their downstream signaling pathways. These interactions enable cells to integrate information from multiple stimuli that regulate cell cycle progression.[1]
