Schizophrenia in a patient with cerebral autosomally dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leucoencephalopathy (CADASIL disease).

CADASIL is an autosomally dominantly inherited multi-infarct dementia caused by mutations in the Notch3 gene in chromosome 19. In this report we present the first patient in the world literature with CADASIL and schizophrenia and discuss the co-occurrence of these conditions in the light of the literature.[1]
