Luminescent Ln3+ nitrobenzoato complexes: first examples of sensitization of green and red emission.

The first examples of luminescent lanthanide complexes with an o-nitrobenzoic acid-based ligand, 2-nitro-4-thiophen-3-yl benzoic acid, have been isolated. The structural and preliminary photophysical characterization is presented.[1]
