Gold-Catalyzed and N-Iodosuccinimide-Mediated Cyclization of gamma-Substituted Allenamides.

Chiral gamma-substituted allenamides have been shown to undergo efficient gold-catalyzed and N-iodosuccinimide-mediated cyclization to highly functionalized dihydrofurans. These reactions proceed rapidly and without loss of stereochemistry.[1]
