Fiber glass splints.

Temporary splints to immobilize periodontally diseased teeth were made by fiber glass bonded and attached to the teeth with acid-etch technique with BIS- GMA resin. Twenty-one splints were made. Observation time ranged from 4 to 14 months. During the observation only one splint fractured and was repaired while the others functioned without failure.[1]
