Double-blind clinical trial of domiodol vs S-carboxymethylcysteine in chronic obstructive lung disease.

The results of a double-blind trial on the clinical and functional effects induced by domiodol and S-carboxymethylcysteine (SCMC) on 40 patients with chronic obstructive lung disease are discussed. Although the therapeutic effects of the two drugs showed no statistical differences both substances had a positive effect on all patients. In general domiodol took effect more rapidly, a feature that is often very convenient.[1]
