High impact information on susD

Consistent with this, nondenaturing gel analysis revealed that in a strain producing SusC, SusD, and SusE, the SusCD complex was partially destabilized [1].
Both formaldehyde cross-linking and nondenaturing gel electrophoresis experiments showed that SusC and SusD interact to form a complex [1].
SusE and SusF also appear to contribute to binding but not to the same extent as SusD [2].

Other interactions of susD

Two of these, SusC and SusD, have been shown by genetic analysis to be required for starch binding [1].
SusD and SusF had no significant similarity to any proteins in the databases [2].
