The markers with the highest association to ADG were also associated with BFT [1].
The results showed pigs treated with 10 mg/kg cadmium significantly decreased average daily gain (ADG) (p<0.05) and increased feed/gain ratio (F/G) (p<0.05) compared to the control [2].

Biological context of ADG

Twenty-five microsatellite markers were significantly associated with either ADG or BFT, and among these, 17 were associated with both traits [1].
