Disease relevance of RNA1

RNA 1 consists of 7496 nucleotides excluding the poly-A tail and encodes a polyprotein with signature enzymatic motifs found in other picorna-like plant viruses [1].

High impact information on RNA1

The genome of SMoV was found to consist of RNA1 and RNA2 of 7036 and 5619 nt, respectively, excluding a poly(A) tail [2].
Determination of the remaining genome sequence indicated the presence of a bipartite virus with an RNA1 and 2 of 7034 and 3315 nucleotides, respectively, excluding a poly(A)tail [3].
