Phototoxic blisters from high frusemide dosage.

Blistering of exposed areas has appeared in patients suffering from chronic renal failure treated with high doses of frusemide. The blistering, which resembles that occurring in nalidixic acid phototoxicity and in porphyria cutanea tarda, is considered phototoxic in nature.[1]
