Central neurocytoma: a clinical study of response to chemotherapy.

We report a case of central neurocytoma treated, after an initial partial resection, by chemotherapy, comprising etoposide, ifosfamide and carboplatin. A response was obtained and further treatment was given with surgery and radiotherapy. There have been no previous reports of response to chemotherapy in this relatively rare tumour.[1]
