Endometrial carcinoma in a patient with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstrual abnormality.

PURPOSE: To describe a woman with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstrual abnormality who developed endometrial carcinoma. METHODS: A 26-year-old woman with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstrual abnormality had increased serum luteinizing hormone and serum follicle-stimulating hormone levels. She was followed up for 5 years. RESULT: She developed endometrial carcinoma. CONCLUSIONS: Patients with blepharophimosis syndrome and menstrual abnormality should be examined gynecologically. Hormone-dependent endometrial carcinoma may develop.[1]
