Disease relevance of Dostinex

Cabergoline normalized hyperprolactinemia in all patients except one [1].
Moderate tricuspid regurgitation is more frequent in patients taking cabergoline (at higher cumulative doses) than in de novo patients and control subjects, but the clinical significance of this finding has not been established [2].

Associations of Dostinex with other chemical compounds

A sustained control of cortisol secretion for 24 month cabergoline treatment at the maximal dose ranging from 1-7 mg/wk (median: 3.5) without significant side effects, was obtained in eight of 20 (40%) patients [3].
