Disease relevance of VPS37A

  • At baseline correlations between inflammatory markers and age, anthropometry, body composition and the metabolic parameters were non-significant; only positive associations were found between tumour necrosis factor alpha and body weight (r = 0.617, p = 0.033) and between HCRP and BMI (r = 0.594, p = 0.041) [1].
  • Three genes (FLJ32642, MTSG1, and PCM1) had a significantly (P< 0.001, P< 0.004, and P< 0.001) lower expression in primary ovarian carcinoma compared with controls (ovarian tissues and cysts) [2].
