Molecular analysis of the TyrR protein-mediated activation of mtr gene expression in Escherichia coli K-12 [1].

Only three operons, trp, mtr, and aroH, exhibited appreciable expression changes consistent with this profile [2].
In addition, tryosine- and tryptophan-specific transport were found to be enhanced by growth of cells with phenylalanine [3].
