SUPT4H was localized to human chromosome 17 by PCR analysis of a human-rodent somatic cell hybrid panel [1].
The likely functional copy of SUPT4H, which has at least two introns, maps to human chromosome 17, with candidate intronless pseudogenes on chromosomes 2, 12, and 20 [2].
