QRI8, a novel ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

We have cloned and sequenced the gene encoding a novel ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Disruption of this gene shows that it is not essential for cell viability.[1]
