Alloxan therapy for nesidioblastosis.

Two patients with nesidioblastosis presented to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow and developed recurrent hypoglycemia after subtotal pancreatectomy. They were treated successfully with alloxan (mesoxalyl urea). Alloxan is recommended as an alternative to further radical surgery.[1]
