Presence of a mouse mammary tumor virus-related antigen in human breast carcinoma cells and its absence from normal mammary epithelial cells.

Antigen(s) related to the major external glycoprotein (gp52) of mouse mammary tumor virus was detected in the human breast cancer cell line MCF-7. No such antigenic determinants were detectable in normal human mammary epithelial cells.[1]
