Disease relevance of CYP4V2

  • Fifty-nine patients with nonmetastatic classic intramedullary osteosarcoma were randomized; 32 received postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy consisting of high-dose methotrexate, Adriamycin (Adria Laboratories, Columbus, OH), and BCD (bleomycin, cytoxan, actinomycin D), and 27 patients received no adjuvant chemotherapy [1].
  • In HIV uninfected individuals with triple BCD hepatitis, hepatitis D virus (HDV) appears to be the dominant virus [2].
  • Truncated derivatives of FnBPA, presenting either the fibrinogen-binding A domain or the fibronectin-binding BCD region, each promoted platelet activation when expressed on the surface of S. aureus or Lactococcus lactis, indicating two distinct mechanisms of activation [3].
  • In this sample of 140 patients undergoing hepatic resection to remove cancerous tissue, hypercoagulation was the most common postoperative BCD; in ten patients, this complication led to hepatic failure and hepatic coma [4].
  • The synthesis and structural analysis, involving X-ray crystallographic, nuclear magnetic resonance, and computational studies of four diastereomers of the common western BCD diarylether macrocycle of the complestatins, a family of HIV entry inhibitors, has been achieved exploiting a ruthenium-promoted intramolecular S(N)Ar reaction [5].

Psychiatry related information on CYP4V2

  • Those who met our BCD criteria had significantly higher PTSD symptom scores than those who did not [6].

High impact information on CYP4V2

Chemical compound and disease context of CYP4V2

Biological context of CYP4V2

  • The results showed that the BCD gene expression was not related to the phenotypes of SMA [11].
  • In contrast, four phylogenies showed topologies of the form (A) (BCD) with statistically significant support [12].
  • Radical and palladium-catalyzed cyclizations to cyclobutenes: an entry to the BCD ring system of penitrem D [13].
  • Hydrolysis of the major isomer gave the dione 27', a model for the BCD ring system of pentacyclic triterpenes [14].
  • However, in those patients not having a good effect of preoperative chemotherapy on the primary tumor, HDMTX with CFR was subsequently deleted from their postoperative chemotherapy and they were placed on a regimen containing cisplatinum at the dose of 120mg/M2 with mannitol diuresis combined with Adriamycin in addition to BCD (regimen A) [15].

Anatomical context of CYP4V2

  • To evaluate the effects of the BCD gene expression on the phenotypes of SMA, we examined lymphocyte mRNA from 9 SMA patients lacking the SMN gene, 10 asymptomatic parents, and 15 control subjects [11].
  • Three patients died of septicemia during chemotherapy-induced bone-marrow depression following treatment with adriamycin or the combination of bleomycin, cyclophosphamide, and dactinomycin (BCD) [16].
  • Significant correlations between axial trunk rotation and Cobb-angle measurements were observed in the thoracic region (MTI, r = .80, df = 10, P less than .005; BCD, r = .70, df = 10, P less than .025; SCOL, r = .59, df = 10, P less than .025) but were not found within the lumbar region (MTI, r = .42; BCD, r = .17; SCOL, r = .20) [17].
  • However, the degree of B and NK cell depletion was dependent on the method: specific TCD resulted in low BCD (under 0.5 log), whereas CCE or CD34 positive purging gave a BCD of greater than 1 log [18].

Associations of CYP4V2 with chemical compounds

Other interactions of CYP4V2

  • The 11 exons of the CYP4V2 gene were amplified from genomic DNA of patients by polymerase chain reaction and then sequenced [22].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of CYP4V2

  • The coding region (including the intron-exon boundary) of CYP4V2 was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) [23].
  • The histologic grade of regression of 50 osteosarcomas after polychemotherapy - according to the protocol study, COSS 80 - was classified on a six-stage regression scale; 56% of all patients responded well to chemotherapy regression grades I, II, and III and no significant difference between BCD- and CPL-treated patients could be found [24].
  • Five stable patients on AFB were switched to bicarbonate hemodialysis (BCD) for a 2-week period using the same AN69 membrane dialyzer [25].
  • The BCD conjugates described in the present study represent suitable candidates for biotechnological applications, e.g. in analyses using biosensors, which might benefit from increased storage stability and amine oxidation at high temperatures [26].
  • Five blood cardioplegia delivery systems (Gish Straight Shot, Sorin BCD Advanced, Avecor MYOtherm, Baxter-Bentley HE-30, and Baxter-Bentley HE-30 Gold) were evaluated with respect to ease of rapid priming, coefficient of heat exchange, pressure drop, bubble trap capacity, and priming volume [27].
