Disease relevance of ANON

  • These probes included bla(SHV), int, aac(3)-Ia, dfrA1, IS6100, tetA, IncM markers, and Anon 13, a marker for the Klebsiella pneumoniae chromosomal sequences that flank bla(SHV-5) [1].
  • It has been reported (Anon, 1988) that while cysticercosis in pigs from 1975-1986 varied from 0.02% to 2.63%, it has not been found since 1986 [2].

High impact information on ANON

  • Among the 24 control patients, Anon beta 2m was detected in 12 patients (cartilage 100%, capsule 8%, synovium 30%) [3].
  • Uniparental disomy (UPD) is the inheritance of both copies of a given chromosome from the same parent (Warburton, 1988; Anon., 1991) [4].
  • Accidental or intentional ingestion of Gramoxone has caused 232 human deaths between 1964 and 1973 (Anon 1974) [5].
  • The trials all compared statins against a placebo; one trial was of simvastatin--the Scandinavian Simvastatin Survival Study (1994)--and the other two were of pravastatin--the Cholesterol and Recurrent Events Trial (CARE) (Sacks et al, 1996) and Long Term Intervention with Pravastatin Ischaemic Disease (LIPID) (Anon, 1998) [6].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of ANON

  • CPR was developed in the 1960s as an emergency life-saving procedure, although it is currently used on anyone who does not have a not-for-resuscitation status (Anon., 1980) [7].
