Fatality associated with inhalation of a pyrethrin shampoo.

A fatality associated with the inhalational exposure to a pyrethrin insecticide is described. Death was attributed to sudden irreversible bronchospasm. While less severe allergic reactions have been reported, this is the first death associated with pyrethrin inhalation.[1]
