Molecular species of diradyl glycerophosphoethanolamine (GroPEtn), glycerophosphocholine, glycerophosphoserine, and glycerophosphoinositol were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography with on-line electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HPLC/ESI/MS) [2].
The proportions of the major phospholipid classes in the plasma and erythrocytes were similar to published values, including the essential absence of diradyl glycerophosphoserine from plasma [3].
