  • Chicken gicerin, under control of the neurofilament gene promoter, was preferentially expressed in neuronal cells and gicerin-expressing neurons exhibited a fasciculation formation with neighboring gicerin-positive axons, which may be partly due to homophilic cell adhesion activity of gicerin [1].
