Triphenyltin (TPT)-degrading bacteria were screened by a simple technique using a post-column high-performance liquid chromatography using 3,3',4',7-tetrahydroxyflavone as a post-column reagent for determination of TPT and its metabolite, diphenyltin (DPT) [1].
The present work investigates the possibility of the protective action of quercetin on phosphatidylcholine liposome membranes exposed to the prooxidative action of DPhT and TPhT induced by UV radiation (lambda = 253.7 nm) [2].
Exposure of NK cells to DPT for 1 h (5 microM) and 24h (1.5 microM) reduced tumor lysis by greater than 90% [3].
In this study, we report the effects of in vitro exposure to triphenyltin (TPT), diphenyltin (DPT), and monophenyltin (MPT) on the function of human NK cells [3].
All compounds showed a concentration dependent inhibition of microtubule assembly and all but diphenyltin induced disassembly of preassembled microtubules [4].
