Disease relevance of IGLV2-8

  • ST-segment elevation of 0.1 mV or more in leads V1-2 or a VL predicted proximal stenosis of at lest 80% in the left anterior descending coronary artery in all six women with typical angina pectoris [1].
  • Sensitivity was determined using 25 patients with evolutionary ST-T wave changes (V1-2), and LDH and CPK isoenzyme evidence of acute myocardial infarction; and 21 patients with anterior wall akinesia or dyskinesia and greater than 70% occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery [2].
  • Mice were immunized with recombinant vaccinia viruses expressing either the wild-type or the variable loop-deleted (V1-2, V3, V4, and V1-3) HIV-1(DH12) gp160s [3].
  • Electrocardiograms showing transmural inferior or anterolateral infarction nearly always indicated coronary disease, while QS patterns in Leads V1-2 occurred frequently with normal coronary arteries [4].
  • Her electrocardiogram (ECG) showed tall R waves in leads V1-2, and ST segment depression in leads V1- 4, consistent with an isolated posterior myocardial infarction (MI) [5].

High impact information on IGLV2-8

  • The PKC isoforms inhibitors investigated were V1-2 peptide, GO-6976, rottlerin, and LY-333531 for PKC-epsilon, -alpha, -delta and -beta, respectively [6].
  • For the wild-type gp120, the immunogenic epitopes mapped primarily to the variable loops V1-2 and to the conserved regions C1 and C5 [3].
  • The phenylephrine effect was inhibited by the alpha(1)-adrenoceptor antagonist prazosin (n=4, P<0.05) and by an xi PKC peptide antagonist (xi V1-2) coupled to a TAT peptide (n=5, P<0. 05) [7].
  • In patients presenting with inferior AMI, the presence of ST-depression in the leads aVL and V1-2 is a sensitive finding that indicates Cx stenosis rather than RCA stenosis and is not affected by coexisting other coronary artery involvements [8].
  • The markers used for LLR were: V1-2 peak Latency (the latency between the V1 and V2 peaks); V2 peak-P24 Latency (the latency between the V2 peak and P24 of a somatosensory evoked potential); V2 Amplitude, and V2 Square (the area of the V2 wave) [9].

Anatomical context of IGLV2-8

  • The purpose of the study was to assess the frequency of infarction of the posterior wall of the left ventricle which shows a high R wave in leads V1-2 on electrocardiogram [10].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of IGLV2-8

  • Use of an artificial neural network to analyse an ECG with QS complex in V1-2 leads [11].
