Disease relevance of TRIM31

  • Crude percents of local failure with or without other sites (LF), distant metastases including regional nodal failure (DM/RNF), or other first events (second primaries/death without recurrence) were estimated for each treatment group [1].
  • We assessed the prevalence of carriage of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in anterior nares and stools, and of third-generation cephalosporin resistant enterobacteriaceae and non-fermenting gram-negative bacilli (RE/RNF) in stools of 748 hospitalized long-stay cirrhotic patients [2].
  • The patient also suffered from cutaneous and visceral Kaposi's sarcoma (KS), which had been treated with high- dose HCG1 and well recognized chemotherapeutic protocols [3].

High impact information on TRIM31

  • Supporting this, 1) the binding of norfenfluramine (NF) analogs lacking an S-(+) alpha-methyl group (RNF and alpha-desmethyl-NF) was less sensitive to the V2.53L mutation, and 2) a V2.53A mutation decreased SNF affinity 190-fold, but decreased RNF and alpha-desmethyl-NF affinities only 16- and 45-fold, respectively [4].
  • Recurrences were reported as the 5-year crude sites of first failure, and were divided into breast recurrences (LR), regional nodal failure (RNF, defined as isolated axillary, supraclavicular, or internal mammary recurrence), and distant metastases (DM) [5].
  • Green fluorescent protein (GFP) plasmid or red nuclear fluorescent protein (RNFP) plasmid were sequestered in NPs [6].
  • MRSA and RE/RNF carriers had received prior antibiotic therapy to a greater extent than non-carriers (P < 0.001) and MRSA carriers had received prior norfloxacin prophylaxis to a greater extent than the two other groups (P < 0.02) [2].
  • This study was performed in co-operation with the Registration Network of Family Practices (RNFP) of the University of Limburg [7].
