UDP-galactose ceramide galactosyltransferase-deficient (Cgt(-/-)) mice exhibit aberrant nerve conduction and display virtually no HSPC egress from BM following granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) or fucoidan administration [1].
Adrenergic tone, osteoblast function, and bone CXCL12 are dysregulated in Cgt(-/-) mice [1].
We have generated a UDP-galactose ceramide galactosyltransferase (CGT) null mutant mouse (cgt-/-) with CNS and PNS myelin completely depleted of GalC and derived sGalC [2].
