High impact information on P100

In subcellular fractions of RSV-infected chicken embryo fibroblasts (RSV-CEFs) and field vole cells probed with TBR serum, the majority of the pp60v-src was associated with the plasma membrane-enriched P100 fraction [1].
Two major molecular weight species of MTF, eluting at Mr 6,000 and 65,000 to 70,000 on Bio-Gel P-100 columns, are present in acid-ethanol extracts of 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene- and nitrosomethylurea-induced rat mammary tumors [2].
Similar efficiency of specific initiation could be obtained when an individual fraction (DE175, DE500, P100, or P1000) from oviduct cells was exchanged for a fraction from HeLa cells [3].
Four major fractions, DE175, DE500, P100, and P1000, from HeLa cells are found to be essential for accurate and efficient transcription of cloned ovalbumin DNA fragments in the reconstituted system [3].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of P100

Polypeptide P100 of the attenuated strain showed a faster electrophoretic mobility in SDS-PAGE with respect to that of the wild-type strain, and the change seems to be located on its amino terminus half [4].
The following biochemical methods were used: sodium dodecylsulphate and acid-urea electrophoresis, gel exclusion chromatography on BioGel P100, and ion-exchange chromatography on BioRex 70 [5].
