Disease relevance of ZNF192

  • LD4 and LD5 isoenzymes were predominant in gastric tissues, but LD5 and the LD5/LD1 ratio were higher in adenocarcinoma tissue [1].
  • Hybridomas secreting specific monoclonal antibodies (MAb) to all members of the genus Leptospira (clone LF9) and those that are specific only to the pathogenic species (clones LD5 and LE1) were produced [2].
  • The discriminating power of HBD, LD and of the HBD/LD ratio in comparison with LD1/LD2 and LD5/LD4 ratios in acute myocardial infarction and hepatic disease is evaluated [3].
  • A factorial design was used to evaluate the toxicity of binary mixtures in which the lethal concentration/lethal dose (LC1/LD1, LC5/LD5, LC15/LD15, and LC50/LD50) of each OP was combined with atrazine concentrations of 0, 10, 40, 80, and 200 microg/L for H. azteca and 0, 200, and 2,000 ng/mg for M. domestica [4].
  • A positive correlation was found between total LD M monomers and LD5 monomers (isoenzyme) for the whole material, for each of the histological subgroups of ulcerative colitis, and for the control specimens of adenomas, carcinomas, and normal mucosa [5].

High impact information on ZNF192

  • To determine antigenic specificity, we mixed ammonium sulfate-precipitated fractions of patient's samples with purified LD1 (H tetramer) or LD5 (M tetramer) prepared by anion-exchange chromatography [6].
  • Addition of hexanediol, 0.6 mol/L, to five LD isoenzyme fractions purified from human liver and heart homogenates resulted in complete loss of activities of LD4 and LD5, and partial loss of LD2 and LD3 [7].
  • In addition, three polymorphisms were identified in ZNF192, one of the zinc finger proteins [8].
  • Negative bilateral stimulation between 2,5 LD homozygous cells indicates that the LD1 allele carried by these individual's lymphocytes is the same; the negative MLC response of the 2,W15 LD homozygous cells to the 2,5 cells used as stimulators suggest either that their LD determinant is identical or the LD W15 allele is included in the LD5 [9].
  • Isobologram and combination-index analyses confirmed a strongly synergistic pharmacologic interaction between the agents at all viral and drug combinations tested (LD5 to LD95) in the three cell lines [10].

Biological context of ZNF192

Anatomical context of ZNF192

  • LD4 and LD5 were the predominant isoenzymes in both pleural and ascitic fluids obtained in malignant and non-malignant diseases [13].
  • We believe LD6 may arise during episodes of severe shock as lysosomes rupture and is either a previously sequestered lysosomal LD or is a lysosomal modification of LD5 [14].

Associations of ZNF192 with chemical compounds

  • The homogenate of prostate gland of the patient shows an extra band with electrophoretic mobility between MM and MB isoenzymes of creatine kinase and highly elevated LD5 fraction compared to LD1 (33% vs. 9%), a remarkable LD isoenzyme pattern of malignant prostate tissue [15].
  • RESULTS: After determining the lethal dosage of Pro and Raz, we assessed and compared the inhibitory effects of Pro and Raz against primary tumor growth and metastatic occurrences of LLC at the dosage of LD5 [16].

Other interactions of ZNF192

  • Two different abnormalities. were detected in 3 of 55 patients with hemochromatosis with the LD5-1 probe, and one of these was detected in one of 44 normal subjects [17].
