Biological context of Genes, T-Cell Receptor delta

Anatomical context of Genes, T-Cell Receptor delta

  • All NK clones and cell lines studied were found to express hGATA-3-specific mRNA, suggesting that hGATA-3 may be involved in the regulation of the unrearranged TcR delta gene expression in NK cells [10].
  • A rearrangement of the TcR delta gene (involving V delta 2 and D delta 3 segments) was seen in three cases (in the circulating blood of two other CMLL patients, and in the bone marrow of another MDS patient) [11].

Gene context of Genes, T-Cell Receptor delta

  • There was no correlation between the phenotypic pattern of CD3, CD4, CD8 in T-cell disorders and the rearrangement of the TcR delta gene [12].
  • Both affect the TCR delta gene segments at 14q11 and the 5' part of the TAL1 locus at 1p32 [13].
  • An enhancer-blocking element (BEAD-1, for blocking element alpha/delta 1) was localized to a 2.0-kb region 3' of TCR delta gene segments and 5' of TCR alpha joining gene segments within this locus [14].
  • By applying a previously described multiplex polymerase chain reaction, the overall incidence of non-deleted TCR-delta gene rearrangements in ALL was 47% (206/438), 52% in initial ALL (58/112) and 45% in relapsed ALL (148/326) [15].
  • From a practical point of view, Ig H and TcR delta gene rearrangements seem to very rare in MDS, and cannot be used as clonality markers in most cases [11].

Analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic context of Genes, T-Cell Receptor delta

  • In order to analyse clonality in additional cases in MDS, we looked for Ig H and TcR delta gene rearrangement by PCR in 95 cases of MDS [11].
