Disease relevance of SEPT7

High impact information on SEPT7

Biological context of SEPT7

  • We examined the gene expression of V-1, a novel soluble protein with the cdc10/SWI6 motif, in pseudopregnant rat ovaries [8].
  • The three loci, called CDC3, EF3, and HIS3, were chosen because they are on different chromosomes so as to improve the chances of finding polymorphisms [9].
  • The gene transcription unit, composed of 13 exons, encodes a potential 417/446 amino acid GTP-binding protein, highly similar to human CDC10 [10].
