Chemical compound and disease context of LEVOFURALTADONE

Biological context of LEVOFURALTADONE

  • Concentrations of DOC above or below the optimal concentration (40 mg/kg of feed) were less effective, eg, when 100 mg of DOC/kg of feed was fed with furaltadone , 45% of low antibody-response line birds gained weight as compared with 85% of the birds when furaltadone was fed alone [5].
  • 5. Hepatocytes incubated with the AMOZ side-chain of furaltadone showed a decreased monoamine oxidase activity at high dose levels (IC50 3.7 mM), whereas exposure to the AOZ side-chain of furazolidone resulted in a clear inhibition at 10,000-fold lower concentrations (IC50 0.5 microM) [2].
