  • Biodistribution and pharmacokinetics of radiolabeled mAb E48 IgG and E48 F(ab')2 were analyzed and compared in 39 patients with histologically proven squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck who were included in a radioimmunoscintigraphy study and underwent surgery 44 h after injection [16].
  • The advent of biotechnology has made it possible to overcome the undesired host antiglobulin response evidenced following the injection of rodent antibodies for radioimmunoimaging; initially through the construction of chimeric and CDR-grafted antibodies and more recently through the derivation of completely human antibodies [17].
