High impact information on Electrophoresis, Capillary

  • To determine the effect of selective alteration of CD44 oligosaccharide composition on the affinity of CD44 for HA, we developed a novel strategy based on the use of affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE) [8].
  • Here, we report methodology, based on matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization MS and capillary electrophoresis, to follow the time course of the enzymatic degradation of heparin-like glycosaminoglycans through the intermediate stages to the end products [9].
  • Picomole amounts of oligodeoxynucleotides [polydeoxyadenylic acids, (dA)40-60] were baseline resolved and analyzed in less than 8 min by high-performance capillary electrophoresis with polyacrylamide gels [10].
  • Similarly, nitrate concentration (by capillary electrophoresis) in the media in which the rings were incubated was reduced in the hypoxic group (5.6+/-0.23 micromol/L for hypoxic rats and 7.8+/-0.7 micromol/L for normoxic rats) [11].
  • Initial analysis using high-performance capillary electrophoresis and immunolocalization revealed a loss of genomic 5-methylcytosine associated with the degree of tumor aggressiveness [12].
