Gene context of Depo-Methylprednisolone acetate

  • Stepwise regression analysis including tacrolimus, its metabolites, and liver function parameters suggested a model including serum activities of gamma-glutamyltransferase, alkaline phosphatase, and alanine aminotransferase as predictors for increased concentrations of demethyl tacrolimus, didemethyl tacrolimus, and the parent drug [28].
  • Serial measurements of sIL-2R levels were made over 24 weeks in 40 patients with RA, treated with intramuscular (im) gold plus 3 im injections of either 120 mg methylprednisolone acetate or placebo [29].
  • Methylprednisolone acetate (4.2 mg/kg/week) reduced clinical signs of inflammation in a manner comparable to TNF blockade but had little effect on the incidence of erosions [30].
  • Cu(II).BLM demethyl A2 was found to be much less effective than Cu(II).BLM A2 as a DNA unwinding agent, emphasizing the strong dependence of this process on the presence of positively charged groups within the BLM molecule [31].
  • With the aim of exploring putative correlations between serum and CSF levels of clozapine and its demethyl metabolite, lumbar puncture was performed on four male and five female schizophrenic patients during long-term treatment with clozapine [32].
